Linda Havrlíková Czech sheep wool
Linda Havrlíková česká ovčí vlna vlněný ručně šitý kabát

The original ELEKTRA men’s jacket made from Czech wool cloth is designed as a practical layer for spring and autumn. In winter, it can easily be worn with a warm wool sweater.

The jacket has a relaxed, comfortable fit, two chest pockets and wooden buttons. Slits at the sides and at the lower part of the sleeves provide greater freedom of movement. The sleeves can be easily rolled up, allowing you to adjust their length and change the way the jacket is worn.

The jacket is unlined, allowing the structure and natural character of the Czech wool cloth itself to stand out.

ELEKTRA was created from the final stock of original wool cloth by Linda Havrlíková. The cloth is made from Czech sheep’s wool and processed within the Czech textile industry. The colour variations were created using industrial ecological dyes.

Available in two colour combinations:

  • light blue / white – with irregularly arranged stripes,
  • dark blue-grey / white – with irregularly arranged stripes.

Czech wool cloth is naturally durable, provides good protection against wind and moisture, and, when properly cared for, retains its appearance without pilling. Fastening: wooden buttons. On request, the buttons can be replaced with press studs — a practical option especially if the jacket is to be used as workwear.

Linda Havrlíková studio’s Czech wool cloth meets the highest standards of durability while also resisting wind and rain and remaining resistant to pilling.

Ready-to-wear sizes 48–56.

Custom alterations are possible during a personal consultation.

The jacket has a transparent supply chain, using wool from Czech sheep and exclusively the Czech textile industry for its processing.

Made in the Czech Republic. Sewn in a small workshop at a homestead beneath the Brdy Mountains.

Care:

Products made from Czech sheep’s wool cloth should be aired regularly and refreshed with steam.

Minor stains can be brushed away with a clothes brush, or the affected area can be gently dampened and hand-washed locally using gall soap or an ecological wool detergent. The water temperature must not exceed 25–30°C. After washing, do not wring. Instead, gently press the fabric between your palms to release the water. Lay the garment flat on a towel, away from direct sunlight, and allow it to dry thoroughly.

If the garment needs to be smoothed, place a damp cloth (soaked and wrung out) over the fabric and press gently with an iron. Do not iron directly; simply press and lift.

In case of heavy soiling, take the garment to a professional dry cleaner experienced in the gentle chemical cleaning of Czech wool cloth.

The Linda Havrlíková brand takes pride in the fact that all of its wool fleece comes from Czech sheep. The origin of the wool is fully traceable, and close contact with the shepherd offers an insight into how he cares for the wool itself and his flock of sheep throughout the year.
