Wool felt made from Czech sheep’s wool, with a weight of 900 g/m².
 
The felt is suitable for making interior accessories, natural “sleeping mats”, sleeping pads, seat cushions, small sitting pads, insulating mats for pet beds or decorations. It can also be used as a natural ironing mat. This is the firmest flat material in the collection — the wool mat is similar, but has a lower weight and is more flexible and softer. The felt is nevertheless not suitable for products that will be subjected to tension, as it may gradually stretch. This material retains its cohesive shape, unlike the fleece materials in the collection, which generally need to be quilted for almost any application. At home after unpacking your order:
 
The box will usually be overflowing (and smelling wonderfully) of wool. Simply unfold the wool materials at home and, if they have lost some of their volume, they will soon regain it. The original shape and creases from transport can be restored in a minute using steam from an iron (not ironing! Simply hold the iron — set to the lowest temperature — approximately 2 cm above the material and release steam). For a slower process, spread the material out on a table and leave it there. It works best by an open window during rainy weather, when the wool fibres absorb moisture from the air and the creases naturally disappear.

Circular approach.
 
The world is full of synthetic materials, but also natural ones that are, in the vast majority of cases, compromised by chemical treatments during production. At best, these materials pass through several recycling cycles, only to eventually end up in landfill or an incinerator.
 
Thanks to the circular approach of the Linda Havrlíková brand, wool materials can be returned to the soil at the end of their useful life. This is where they have an important role to play — leaving the soil nourished. Just as nature intended.
 
Care:
 
Wool fleece from Czech sheep that has already been sewn into your unique products should be aired regularly and refreshed with steam. Unprocessed fleece should also be aired regularly.
 
Minor stains on fleece sewn into products can be gently dampened locally and hand-washed using gall soap or an ecological wool detergent. The water temperature must not exceed 25–30°C. After washing, do not wring. Instead, gently press the fleece between your palms to release the water. It can also be washed on an extra-gentle washing machine cycle — the symbol with the tub underlined twice, at a maximum of 30°C. Lay the product flat on a towel, away from direct sunlight, and allow it to dry thoroughly.
 
If the product needs to be smoothed, place a damp cloth (soaked and wrung out) over the fabric and press gently with an iron. Do not iron directly; simply press and lift.
 
In case of heavy soiling, take the product to a professional dry cleaner experienced in the gentle chemical cleaning of Czech wool materials.
